E-Mail comments, content and suggestions to the Webmaster Updated: December 02, 2005 |
I want to express my sincere condolences to the family and to the many friends of Matt DeVito. Matt was a friend to almost everyone who met him and we will really miss him. Matt was dedicated to this organization and I’m sure he would urge us to keep moving forward with the issues that face SES today. As acting President, and with the help of the other SES officers and board, I will do my best to try to keep us on the path that Matt started. I want to remind everyone that the 25th "Stationary Source Sampling and Analysis for Air Pollutants" conference is just around the corner. So, start making plans now to attend this important conference held March 25-30, 2001 in Destin, Florida. I’m really excited about this year’s program. All ten of the sessions are filled with presentations that are important and timely to the source testing community. Sessions will include presentations regarding new technologies, measurement challenges, source testing accreditation, and much, much more. For complete information about this conference, please visit the "SES Member Information" section of this web site. The SES Annual Meeting will take place during this conference. It is currently scheduled for Thursday afternoon. I would urge all of the SES membership that is present at this conference to attend this meeting. Important discussions will be held and decisions might be made that could effect everyone involved with source testing. Remember, we need at least fifty members to have a quorum. I can assure you that at least one of the items on the agenda will be accreditation. Please contact me with any other items that you would like to have added to the agenda. My E-mail address is don_henning@cleanair.com Best Regards, Don Henning Acting SES President
