The Source Evaluation Society is completing plans for its international conference to be held Sunday through Friday, April 14 – April 19, 2019.

The conference format, as always, will include technical presentations and will also allow for multiple opportunities for attendees to have meaningful discussions with people from all aspects of the testing industry. This conference offers a unique opportunity to interact with emissions measurement professionals as well as representatives from industrial source operations, regulatory agencies, and consulting/engineering/laboratory firms all within a highly interactive setting.

Technical sessions will focus on emerging issues resulting from complex interactions between regulatory developments, evolving testing and measurement technologies, industrial source operator perspectives and changing needs, field and laboratory problem-solving, data management, and data quality
objectives. The agenda of the 2019 conference will be comprehensive and designed to support and foster participation, interaction and above all communication.

 

Conference Overview:

The Source Evaluation Society has completed plans for the 43rd International Stationary Source Sampling and Analysis for Air Pollutants Conference. The conference will be held at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama. The conference technical sessions start on Sunday evening April 14th and end on Friday morning April 19th.

There will be a total of ten technical sessions plus poster sessions. The format is designed to encourage open exchange of experience and knowledge on environmental measurements and emission characterization issues. Participants include representatives from industry, federal and state governments, research and consulting organizations, air testing companies, equipment manufacturers, analytical laboratories, international participants and academia.

Topics will address a comprehensive array of technical and policy aspects related to environmental regulations, emissions measurement and monitoring technologies, field and laboratory measurements, and reporting. Presentations will be from experts in the field.

We invite you to attend and participate. Please find the draft agenda and the registration and contact information enclosed and respond early. We are accepting abstracts for high quality technical oral and poster presentations through September 29, 2018. If you have an interest in presenting at the conference please submit a 200-300 word abstract to the conference chair and appropriate session chair.

Registration Opening date: November 25, 2018. This conference sells out to maximum capacity in less than 8 weeks.
